Never pressure a child to learn. Expose children to new and different things and then stop, take a breath, and move on. Every child learns at a different rate but they all have the capacity to learn and absorb more than we give them credit for. Learning should never be stressful for the parent or the child.”
Training Wheels Needed was born to help parents navigate all of the “firsts” they will encounter during their children’s earliest years. As an innovative Early Childhood Educator and a mother, Rachel Raybin has created simple ways to guide you successfully on the journey of raising your children. When sprinkled with a little fairy dust, these ideas can transform a challenging situation into a positive experience.
Rachel holds a BS in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. Innovative and academically forward in her successful “Mommy and Me” curriculum and interactive birthday parties, Rachel was encouraged by her large following of dedicated parents and their children to develop a preschool program. For more than 17 years she served as the founder and headmistress of a premiere private academy for young children. Raybin’s dedication and excellence in Early Childhood Education did not go unnoticed. In 1998, she was invited to join the accreditation board of the prestigious Florida Kindergarten Council. Her academy and curriculum was renowned in South Florida and the thousands of young children who attended her school had an exceptional foundation as they transitioned to elementary school. Rachel’s success lies in the fact that she’s constantly evaluating and changing to create new ways to get children excited about learning.
“As parents, we are our children’s first teachers. Training Wheels Needed is a resource to help guide parents through your children’s early learning years.”
Children do come with a manual, and Rachel has created Training Wheels Needed to share hers with you!
